Master Brian Dunn, 4th dan (Sah Bum Nim)
Master Dunn is the senior Huron black belt student of Grandmaster Vaillancourt, having started in the first class at the Nordby Center in January 2005. Master Dunn brings a background in Shotokan to his Korean Martial Arts training and he enjoys practical self-defense, working with the long staff (Jon Bong) and forms.
Master Dunn has a 4th dan in Tang Soo Do from the World Tang Soo Do General Federation (Seoul, Korea), a 4th dan in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Chang Moo Kwan (Seoul, Korea), a 1st gup in Shotokan and a 7th gup in Hapkido. Master Dunn has instructor certification in the Vaillancourts Korean Martial Arts program.
Master Dunn is a shift Captain with the Huron Fire Department.
Blaine Rodacker, 2nd dan (Kyo Sah Nim)
Mr. Rodacker began training with Grandmaster Vaillancourt in the Fall of 2011. Mr. Rodacker enjoys assistant teaching, pad-kicking and heavy-bag work as well as sparring.
Mr. Rodacker has a 2nd dan in Tang Soo Do from Grandmaster Vaillancourt, a 2nd dan in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Chang Moo Kwan (Seoul, Korea) and a 7th gup in Hapkido. Mr. Rodacker has instructor certification in the Vaillancourts Korean Martial Arts program.
Mr. Rodacker works at Terex Utilities in Huron, South Dakota.
Porsha Scholl, 1st dan (Kyo Sah Nim).
Ms. Porsha has been training with the Vaillancourts since the Fall of 2013. A strong technical student, she has been assistant teaching with Mrs. Vaillancourt over the past several years and has instructor certification in the Vaillancourts Korean Martial Arts program.
Ms. Porsha has a 1st dan in Tang Soo Do from the World Tang Soo Do General Federation (Seoul, Korea), a 1st dan in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Chang Moo Kwan (Seoul, Korea) and an 8th gup in Hapkido.
Mr. Gary Lee Scholl, 1st dan (Kyo Sah Nim)
Mr. Scholl has been training with the Vaillancourts since the Fall of 2013. Mr. Scholl greatly enjoys self-defense and sparring and has been assistant teaching off and on over the previous several years. Mr. Scholl has instructor certification in the Vaillancourts Korean Martial Arts program.
Mr. Scholl has a 1st dan in Tang Soo Do from the World Tang Soo Do General Federation (Seoul, Korea), a 1st dan in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Chang Moo Kwan (Seoul, Korea) and an 8th gup in Hapkido.
Ms. Nastasia Scholl, 1st dan (Kyo Sah Nim)
Ms. Nastasia began training with the Vaillancourts in the Fall of 2013. Ms. Scholl enjoys forms and sparring and has been assistant teaching over the last several years. Ms. Nastasia has instructor certification in the Vaillancourts Korean Martial Arts program.
Ms. Nastasia has a 1st dan in Tang Soo Do from the World Tang Soo Do General Federation (Seoul, Korea), a 1st dan in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Chang Moo Kwan (Seoul, Korea) and an 8th gup in Hapkido.
Mrs. Jean Mornard
Mrs. Mornard began training with the Vaillancourts in the Fall of 2018. She has become very interested in assistant teaching in the youth classes and is a welcome addition to our teaching staff.
Mrs. Mornard has a 4th gup - Green III in Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo.
Mother Jean is an Episcopal Priest in Huron.

Master Joel Gilbert (Sah Bum Nim)
Master Gilbert is Master Vaillancourt's senior active student and teaches the Gilberts Korean Martial Arts program in Augusta, Maine. Master Gilbert has a strong work ethic and is known for his physically demanding classes.
Master Gilbert began training in the Korean martial arts in 1987 and currently has a 6th dan in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Chang Moo Kwan (Seoul, Korea) and a 5th dan in Tang Soo Do from the World Tang Soo Do General Federation (Seoul, Korea) and Master Gilbert teaches at the following:

Stuart Gavurin (Bo Sah Bum Nim)
Mr. Gavurin began his martial arts training as a youth and has been training in Taekwondo and Hapkido for around twenty years. A proponent of practical self-defense, he teaches Hapkido and continues to train in Taekwondo in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Gavurin and Mr. Vaillancourt met and trained together in Virginia and have maintained their association after each relocated to different states.
Mr. Gavurin has a 3rd dan in Hapkido from the United States Korean Martial Arts Federation and the International Kyungmo Hapkido Federation. He also has a 3rd dan in Taekwondo and trains regularly with Grandmaster Mike Newby in Denver, Colorado.

Master George Manlove (Sah Bum Nim)
Master Manlove began training in 1981 and had trained with Grandmaster Vaillancourt for several decades. Master Manlove taught at numerious locations in Maine and was a noted competitor during his career.
Master Manlove has a 5th dan in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Chang Moo Kwan (Seoul, Korea) and a 4th dan in Tang Soo Do from the World Tang Soo Do General Federation (Seoul, Korea).
