Master Brian Dunn, 4th dan (Sah Bum Nim)
Master Dunn is the senior Huron black belt student of Grandmaster Vaillancourt, having started in the first class at the Nordby Center in January 2005. Master Dunn brings a background in Shotokan to his Korean Martial Arts training, and he enjoys practical self-defense, working with the long staff (Jon Bong) and forms.
Master Dunn has a 4th dan in Tang Soo Do from the World Tang Soo Do General Federation (Seoul, Korea), a 4th dan in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Chang Moo Kwan (Seoul, Korea), a 1st gup in Shotokan and a 7th gup in Hapkido. Master Dunn has instructor certification in the Vaillancourts Korean Martial Arts program. He occasionally assists in the adult advanced class.
Master Dunn is a shift Captain with the Huron Fire Department.
Blaine Rodacker, 3rd dan (Kyo Sah Nim)
Mr. Rodacker began training with Grandmaster Vaillancourt in the Fall of 2011. Mr. Rodacker enjoys assistant teaching, pad-kicking and heavy-bag work as well as sparring.
Mr. Rodacker has a 3rd dan in Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo from Grandmaster Vaillancourt and a 7th gup in Hapkido. Mr. Rodacker also has instructor certification in the Vaillancourts Korean Martial Arts program. He occasionally assists in the adult advanced class.
Mr. Rodacker works at Terex Utilities in Huron, South Dakota.
Porsha Scholl, 2nd dan (Kyo Sah Nim).
Ms. Porsha has been training with the Vaillancourts since the Fall of 2013. A strong technical student, she has instructor certification in the Vaillancourts Korean Martial Arts program.
Ms. Porsha has a 2nd dan in Tang Soo Do from the World Tang Soo Do General Federation (Seoul, Korea), a 2nd dan in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Chang Moo Kwan (Seoul, Korea) and an 8th gup in Hapkido. She occasionally assists in the adult advanced class.
Mr. Gary Lee Scholl, 2nd dan (Kyo Sah Nim)
Mr. Scholl has been training with the Vaillancourts since the Fall of 2013. Mr. Scholl has instructor certification in the Vaillancourts Korean Martial Arts program.

Ms. Nastasia Scholl, 2nd dan (Kyo Sah Nim)
Ms. Nastasia began training with the Vaillancourts in the Fall of 2013. Ms. Scholl enjoys forms and sparring. Ms. Nastasia has instructor certification in the Vaillancourts Korean Martial Arts program.

Mr. Conner Dragt, 1st Gup Red III
Mr. Dragt began training with the Vaillancourts in January 2020. Mr. Dragt enjoys sparring, forms and self-defense. He assistant teaches in the youth classes and is a welcome addition to our teaching staff.
Mr. Dragt has a 1st gup - Red III in Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo.
Ms. Sylenea Scholl, 1st Gup Red III
Ms. Scholl began training with the Vaillancourts in September 2015. Ms. Scholl enjoys sparring, forms and self-defense. She occasionally assistant teaches in the youth classes and is a welcome addition to our teaching staff.
Ms. Scholl has a 1st gup - Red III in Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo.
Mr. Josiah Chase, 2nd Gup Red II
Mr. Chase began training with the Vaillancourts in January 2020. He has become interested in assistant teaching in the youth beginner class and is a welcome addition to our teaching staff.
Mr. Chase has a 2nd gup - Red II in Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo.
Mrs. Jean Mornard, 2nd Gup Red II
Mrs. Mornard began training with the Vaillancourts in the Fall of 2018. She occasional assists in the youth classes.
Mrs. Mornard has a 2nd gup - Red II in Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo.
Mother Jean is an Episcopal Priest in Huron.

Master Joel Gilbert (Sah Bum Nim)
Master Gilbert is Master Vaillancourt's senior active student and teaches the Gilberts Korean Martial Arts program in Augusta, Maine. Master Gilbert has a strong work ethic and is known for his physically demanding classes.
Master Gilbert began training in the Korean martial arts in 1987 and currently has a 6th dan in Taekwondo and instructor certification from the World Taekwondo Chang Moo Kwan (Seoul, Korea) and a 6th dan in Tang Soo Do from the Pan American Bi Sang Kwan Tang Soo Do Association.

Stuart Gavurin (Sah Bum Nim)
Master Gavurin began his martial arts training as a youth and has been training in Taekwondo and Hapkido for around twenty-five years. A proponent of practical self-defense, he teaches Hapkido and continues to train in Taekwondo in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Gavurin and Mr. Vaillancourt met and trained together in Virginia and have maintained their association after each relocated to different states.
Master Gavurin has a 4th dan in Taekwondo and instructor certification from the World Chang Moo Kwan in Seoul, Korea and a 4th dan and instructor certification in Hapkido, also from Korea.
He trains under Mr. Vaillancourt and Grandmaster Mike Newby of Denver, Colorado.

Master George Manlove (Sah Bum Nim)
Master Manlove began training in 1981 and had trained with Grandmaster Vaillancourt for several decades. Master Manlove taught at numerious locations in Maine and was a noted competitor during his career.
Master Manlove has a 5th dan in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Chang Moo Kwan (Seoul, Korea) and a 4th dan in Tang Soo Do from the World Tang Soo Do General Federation (Seoul, Korea).
